We’re H.E.A.R.T Guam
H.E.A.R.T is an animal welfare group in the U.S. territory of Guam. We promote the humane treatment of humans and animals through education, advocacy and services. We show compassion to animals who have been abandoned, abused, or neglected while engaging the hearts, hands, and minds of our community.
About Us
Happily Ever After Rescue Team is a network of animal rescuers. Ever since I was a kid, I have been bringing home any animal in need. Cats, dogs, pigs and any other animal you could imagine, including squirrels, can be victims of neglect and abuse. As an adult, I have realized that saving one animal might be rewarding but is not a solution to systemic issues. Our rescue operation is aware of the 60 thousand stray dogs on the Island, but this problem is not well publicized. We hope that through education and partnerships, we can raise awareness to the plight of stray and underserved animals. It is our goal to make a tangible difference with the “Boonie” population on Guam.
